‘Jessica’ is a radiant tribute of joy, memory, and a bond that never fades. Named after my best friend Tierney’s favourite childhood teddy, this giraffe bursts with playful energy and colour, painted with a sense of wonder and wild affection. When I was painting this piece, to be completely honest I didn’t expect it would have such deep meaning to me, but everyone close to me who saw it said it reminded them of Tierney and it became a really special piece. I knew it had to be a painting that honours her spirit.

Jessica’s eyes are bright, gentle, and full of quiet strength - much like the friend who inspired her. The bold neons mixed with pastel tones and inky blacks stand out against the white spray paint halo.

This piece is a gentle reminder that the ones we love can truly live on in the stories we tell, and the art we make without always realising it in the moment!
